After almost 30 years in the “high tech” industry working for the likes of Motorola, Pye Electronics, CP Rail Engineering, and Nortel I decided to branch out on my own.
In 2004 I started a non-profit association called BC Rugby News (BCRN). Its goal was to promote the sport and values of rugby in British Columbia. As President and Editor it has consumed a large part of my time over the last eight years. BCRN has grown to almost a million page views in 2011 with a reading population of approximately 80,000 unique visitors. Considering the playing population of rugby in British Columbia is less than 8,000 it’s a noteworthy achievement and speaks to the level of market penetration we’ve achieved.
BCRN Consulting has arisen out of that experience.
“Rugby teaches you teamwork in a fast-paced, high-stress environment”
